For the cost, and the fact that to ship this all the way to the east coast from California was $20.00 - unbelievable value. Certainly, this is not a professional garage quality tool chest but I will say this, for [$] this is beyond a good bargin. I can't imagine how it can be sold this inexpensively. The quality is excellent given the cost. The only reason I did not give it a maximum rating was due to a few shortcomings - it's a little "tinny" (not overly "heavy duty"), the drawers are a bit stiff, but they are all lined (another plus), and the rolling action leaves a bit to be desired. STILL for personal home use this is an extrodinary value. And no tax! Yikes! BTW - the product arrived in two well crafted and well packaged boxes - no damage.

Since the lower end Craftsman toolbox combos are now made in China, why pay for a brade name if you don't have to. If you can't afford to pay for American made boxes this is a good box for the homeowner. It could in no way repalce my Kennedy boxes I use at work. It wouldn't suprise me to find out that Excel supplies Craftsman and other retailers. Hayneedles'[...] in conjuction with an online coupon for 15% off made this the best deal I could find for these excact boxes anywhere online. Plus I ordered all black. Most other suppiers only had red with black drawers. I would not buy these if you expect any rough service needs.

Tool box has heavy duty drawer slides, a super paint job, really good casters, and its not too tall. Extremely good quality for the money.

If you are a pro gear head this might not be for you. But if you love your tools and work on your own projects at home, It's perfect!!!
