I ordered this top box as the final piece for my "Frankenstein" roll-a-way tool box.[...] Once out of the box I was more than amazed with the security of the drawers. They stay put when closed, almost feeling like they are semi locked, and take just a little bit of effort to open. The ball bearing drawers glide as smooth as silk. The box, to date, has been flawless and this is an extremely harsh environment to put anything through.All in all this is one solid box and the price is FAR BETTER than my other "well known named" top box I have at home. It performs just as good if not better.

I sent the first one back as it suffered from severe damage. The box was intact but the unit looked like someone took a sledge to it. Hayneedle was extremely easy to deal with in exchanging the box. I give them 5*s.
The box itself is laid out nice and has plenty of storage capacity. The drawers are EXTREMELY hard to pull out from their fully closed position. I leave them open to the pre-lock position and they open smoothly. The overall finish is mediocre, you can see weld impressions on the drawer fronts, but hey its in the basement or garage anyway,right? But... for the price I expected a cleaner finish. Overall it will serve it's purpose but feel that it is overpriced.

This tool chest is pretty good. Decent gauge sheet metal... arrived undamaged. For the money I don't think you can get much better. You can get better but you will pay more for it. My only complaint is that there should be gas shocks on the top that opens up... even my US General has those and that's not very high end... but like I said you can't go wrong with this one. A very solid value.

about the Quality. The draws are lined and run very easy. Love that .
